Outlook contact synch and auditing don’t play well together. If you have a bunch of outlook users and they are synching their contacts every 15 minutes, it creates an audit record for each contact every time in synchs, even if nothing is changing. This overloads the audit table.
I would suggest improving audit so it only creates a record when something changes (or give the option to delete out the records where the from and to values are the same).
