Sometimes the Deployable Packages fail because the environment is using some file that the application/installation process requires but is blocked and the only way to unblock is restarting the environment. In this cases, the LCS could restart the environment automatically and complete the package installation.

We are not considering the suggestion at this time due to the following reason: This is a corner case where due to some issue during package deployment the environment needs to be restarted. For non-production environments like sandbox and dev/test you have the option to stop and start the environment from LCS (which is equivalent to a reboot) or do a restart of the service as well. For production environment, if there is an issue someone from Microsoft Tier 1 is engaged to investigate the issue and roll forward or rollback. In that case a reboot of the machine might not help.
