Currently, setup time and run time are "0" using the production journal when expecting input.
I think a checkbox in manufacturing setup or in the routing card to trigger populating these values in the production journal would be helpful.
Even better would be if this time was decremented by previous postings. For example, if a production order calls for 1000 units and the routing expects 10 hours of run time, when a user posts 5 hours of runtime, the production journal would then default to the remaining 5 hours of run time. Perhaps this could be a secondary checkbox/radio button to decrement the times.
There is existing code used to modify Navision for defaulting setup time and run time, so this should be possible in the base Business Central application.
