Make variants of Packing. Client have Items that were different packing( unit sequence and conversion). Some variant is packing in cans 1L and then in Box and boxes on pallet, but the same product can be paced to barrels 200L and on a pallet ( 1 on pallet or 4 on pallet), and sometimes is selling without packing direct to tank/cistern. It is still the same Item ID if it must be in WMS, client must have make a different item ID for all variants of packing.

Also customers have dedicated variants of packing. This can be screened on Packing Station when needed repacking (forming a new structure from existing Item pcs – for e.g. repack to bigger/smaller box/pallet) or if needed variant of packing is on stock simply reserve it.

Sometimes they have few vendors, and each one pack the same Item in different way. It is no possibility to convince all of them to pack in a particular way and repacking on reception is loss of time, but this units are treat as full pallets.
