Fixed assets can be purchased in bulk as a single asset and then later redistributed to new fixed assets.or a fixed asset can be used as a cost accumulator and then later capitalized into separate assets with out using projects. or part of an asset could break and you then need to write of just a portion of the asset. add a function to split the fixed asset into a new asset based on a percentage or value of the original asset splitting the acquisition cost and total depreciation.
