The concept of the currency exchange rate type, which allows multiple exchange rates for the currency pair, was introduced principally for budgeting. There is a business requirement for this to be extended as businesses sometimes want to specify different rates depending upon the context.  For example, there could be a buy versus sell rate. This means concept should be extended to all modules where currency is specified such as master files for defaults and actual transactions
