Currently pre-conversation survey responses are only displayed on the Active Conversation form. As soon as the conversation is closed out of the box scripts automatically open the Conversation Form where pre-conversation survey responses are not displayed. The pre-conversation survey responses are stored in the Context item value table - which is not customisable - so it is not even possible to add the response values to a view on this table to display on the Conversation Form.
The business impact of this limitation is fairly significant as it is not easy to retrieve the pre-conversation survey responses without doing an Advanced Find - something which a lot of users are not comfortable with. The alternative is to either create a custom table to which the pre-conversation survey responses could be copied to and then displayed on Conversation Form within subgrid, or build a custom PCF to display the response. Both of these require developer resources resulting in additional costs to implementation, which other live chat providers offer as standard out of the box.
