Practically, values in the license plate table should be populated with a barcode from the barcode table (InventItem_ItemBarcode). To ensure that the correct barcode is used for an item (if multiple barcodes exist in the table) a boolean field should be created to mark a barcode as "print barcode on label" (it should only be possible to mark one barcode as "print" at a time). Alternatively, a vendor code should be added to the barcode table, to ensure that you can create a unique barcode pr. vendor.

Agree this is long overdue.
Using a display method, an input value could determine which barcode should be printed, such as the Barcode type.

And while we are at it... Batch expiry / manufacture date would be handy!!!

I agree, especially in regards to the barcode being an option to print on the label. If the product goes to a non LP controlled location, you use variants, and have confirmation of item setup, you are forced to scan a UPC for that confirmation. I feel a full solution should offer this required info to be printed on the OOTB labels.

This is a must have. Right now you can only print a bar code of the item number.
