Please adds fields for Created By, Created On, Updated By, Updated On on all pages / lists. It is important to see when and whom has created a record in the system. Implement the same structure as you have in MS Dynamics 365

With the february release of Power BI the pro version support incremental loading of data. This could be really usefull in relationship with Dynamics 365 Business Central as this would make it possible to only load new or changed data reducing the load time and hardware utilisation in general.
For this to work really well we need a inserted/modified date/time field on all records in the system. Or at least on the most relevant records for reports (Sales invoice lines, G/L lines, Items, etc).

Please consider to allow access to the timestamp field of all tables which already exist, but cannot be accessed by AL code.

Please do not put any more into the Base Application.
As a partner, create an extension that adds these fields to the useful tables and pages.

I would like to see this as system-level fields, similar to SystemId.
There could be a table property called MaintainChangeFields to set if these fields are maintained in the database by the platform if the performance hit of having it on all tables is too high.

And please use the datetime-datatype for the Created On/Updated On-fields and not the date-datatype. Also the existing "Last Modified"-fields should be switched from date to datetime.

Is it than possible to navigate to changelog entries with the table and primary key search?
and this navigate button of course only visible when the table is added tot the change log setup ;)

I think by the minimum Microsoft should add those new fields for a start at least to Purchase Header and Sales Header tables and relevant pages.

OK I really hope that you plan for implementing this. We have 8 installations in BC going on right now and we got the same questions and frustration from all of the customers that we are missing this fields. I have worked with ERP system in 20 years and I have not experienced this lack of bare minimum functionality to a table/page, not to se who has created the record and when!

Thank you for your feedback. We released this feature as part of the functionality in Audit Fields.
