When operating in D365 we have more warehouses. That is needed specially for quality aspects.

When a purchase order has been ordered to another warehouse than the Main, we only see it on the specific orderline.

In the warehouse app the message when trying to recieve is "Product identifier not found" then we have to "triel and error" to change warehouse untill we hit the right one.

We need a solution:

1) where either the scanner jumps to the right warehouse or

2) Intstead of saying " product identifyer not found" then say this is for warehouse Quality, Warehouse Project, Warehouse Stop etc. And hereby guides the user to change warehouse to the right one.

I have tried with lookup options, but that doesnt work either since there is a limitation that makes it not possible to use joins in the menu with data inquiry.

Thank you for your feedback. Currently this is not in our roadmap; however, we are tracking it and if we get more feedback and votes, we may consider it in the future.

We have a setup where sample item (new items, vendors, versions) are purchased to a sample warehouse. Logistically these items arrive to the same gate in warehouse. We use location directives to send them to special inspection. We use a separate warehouse because its the cleanest way to keep the separated, not included in on hand. Workers can't see on the shipment if this is a sample or not. Time is wasted, receipts delayed as is.
