If you have complex journeys running over a period of time it would be useful to be able to make changes to the journey once it is live i.e. add/remove an email or change a date/condition. It is currently not possible to edit a live journey in outbound marketing and although you can 'edit' a live journey in real time, it stops the current journey to create a new version only affecting new contacts starting the journey and completing for old contacts already in the journey, meaning you have no flexibility to change anything down the line.
Specifically to 'pause' a journey rather than stop and have to restart or split audiences that had started the previous journey. A pause option is integral should we ever experience issues with our applicant record system and integration, triggered comms would be required to be stopped without having to rebuild and restart journeys form the beginning, but would expect contacts to restart where they left off - this is not currently possible in real time marketing.

Could we get an update on this topic in regards to timelines?

It would be very useful to 'pause' a journey, make changes, and then choose whether the changes should affect only new contacts or both new and existing contacts in the journey.

Hello!
This is something we do have on our roadmap but there are no timelines we can share at this moment. Thank you for sharing your feedback!
