With the addition of expiration dates, the system is currently limited to either "90 days" or expiration of "Never". A better solution would be: 1) Configurable time frames rather than everything being 90 days or Never. With those two options, we have not improved the user experience. Most reports cannot be deleted in 90 days which means that all reports will need to be manually set to “Never” every time the user generates a report. Additionally, it will still be a manual review process to periodically delete older reports at the 13th month (as an example) or 25th month (as an example) mark depending on the report. 2) The ability to set the default value BY REPORT. This eliminates the need for the user to have to update the expiration value every time they generate a report. 3) There has always been the obvious issue of duplicate reports for the same time frame. When a user generates a report for the same time period as a existing report, there should be some feedback from the system. A) "A report for this time period has already been generated, are you sure you want to generate again?" B) When a user responds Yes, then "Should this report replace the existing report for this time period?"

Thank you for your feedback.
I’m interested in additional feedback on this topic. We see a wide difference in how some customers never review previously generated reports, versus others who maintain a controlled curated list of reports.
Thank you for sharing. We agree that some additional granularity would make sense and we will evaluate additional options that would make this experience even better.
Sincerely,
