Currently, the modern Timeline control in Dynamics 365 only supports one attachment per Note via the paperclip icon. Dragging files into the note editor embeds images inline instead of attaching them, and the previous drag-and-drop attachment zone is missing. This limits efficiency for users who need to attach multiple files (e.g., images, documents) to a single Note.

Impact:

• Increased time and clicks for agents handling cases.
• Inline images are not suitable for audit/export scenarios.
• Reduces usability compared to the classic Notes control.

Request:

• Restore or introduce multi-file drag-and-drop support for Notes in the modern Timeline.
• Allow multi-select in the attachment picker.
• Provide a visible attachment drop zone below the note editor.

Justification:

This was available in the classic Notes control and is critical for Customer Service workflows where multiple files need to be attached quickly.
