Wish there is an option to easily schedule a customer sales order based on date and time (e.g. we expect purchasing shipment to arrive on December 15, 2022 at 4:00pm, THEREFORE I would like to schedule a customer confirmation on December 16, 2022 at 8am, based on customer telephone confirmation.

Appreciate you taking the time to feedback. You can already today schedule the issue of a sales order confirmation by creating a batch job to be executed at a specific time/date for a specific sales order confirmation. This can be done from within the sales confirmation posting UI. Please leverage this standard capability.
