Privacy and security is paramount to organizations around the world today. Dynamics has a robust security model but there is no ability to attach sensitivity labels to tables or columns. It would be very beneficial if customizers could add metadata tags that denote if a certain field may contain sensitive data pertaining to PII, PCI, MNPI, GDPR, CCPA etc. This tagging can then be used to potentially drive security rules within Dynamics. At the same time, when data is exported out to Excel, the same labels can be used to sync with Azure Information Protection and apply sensitivity labels accordingly. Office 365 Security and Compliance Center can also track the movement of these sensitive information.
