While there are many fields in the XML for the word forms, there are always new ones that customers would like to add. For example, on the sales invoice the email address fields that are associated with the Bill To and Ship To addresses is not available. Email for example, is something people like to print on their invoice/order formats.
The ability to add to the XML fields for all Word forms would be great.

This is sorely needed and/or at the very least something that should be straightforward using .al development if it can not be presented in a UI. Option to Download XML as an extension and then join in datasets easily.
Can Microsoft provide an update here as this has been outstanding since 2017 and I have seen several posts, blogs and threads looking for this exact functionality for all fields available?

We use these fields in the database but need them to print on sales reports. The dataset does not have them for report id 1304, 1305, 1306, and 1307.

Shipping agent service code on the repeating line.
A couple of these fields we use for different information than its intended label but need them to get to the reports. such as home page. We use home page field and the fax field as custom fields that our business needs. We use sales orders as work orders and need that information to be available to the field crew that gets the work order. currently "home page" is "gate code".
Thank you Microsoft for making Word docs available to create custom reports. I couldn't get the hang of the SQL reporting option but the Word option is great.
One day would like to see custom fields that we users can use on customer cards and on sales docs. Coming from Quickbooks Enterprise we have gained so much by the switch to dynamics, but miss a few things such as custom fields. and would prefer them to be "out of the box" included with the dynamics solution.

I think all fields on the order, invoice, PO, etc., should be exposed. If it is a field you can fill out in the system you should be able to print it on the form.

Thanks for the feedback. There is currently no end user configuration story for adding to the datasets in reports.
Apart from email, which other fields would you like to see being available in the dataset?
