We need to create a view in activities using the due option as now if we select the due in days options all the activities are not getting filtered as they have to be.
So when we select the due in 7 days option only activities should be shown which are due in 7 days.

As the feature was delivered in CRM 2013, we are not planning to consider this for CRM 2011 at this point
