Today in Business Central, saved list views cannot reliably be used as defaults.

Even when a user selects a view and closes the page, reopening the same list (for example, Customers) often falls back to the All view — especially when opened from Role Centers, cues, or menu navigation.

This makes list views feel unreliable and discourages their use, even on core pages like the Customer List.

Request:

• Allow users to explicitly mark one view as their default
• Persist that choice regardless of navigation path
• Optionally expose this in AL so extensions can respect user intent

Business impact:

• Improves usability for everyday users
• Reduces repetitive filtering
• Aligns Business Central behavior with modern UX expectations

This would significantly improve adoption of saved views across the application.
