In several countries from EU (e.g. Germany, Norway) a parent is entitled for a number of days of sick leave when one of the children is sick. The quantum of days is based on the number of children and is usually fix, though exceptions might apply for each country.

It would be helpful to track the number of children found under a parent's care or at least have a multiplier in the leave type which will be used against the accrual amount. Otherwise, HR needs to adjust these values manually (when the number of children>1).

There might be other scenarious in which a multiplier would be helpful, e.g. number of people found in care, other than children.
