I would like a parameter to be able to set Purchase orders released from a Purchase agreement to status 'Approved' if change management (require approval) is activated. Right now they are always set to 'Draft' if change management is activated. The reason for this is that when using Purchase agreement you define the terms in the agreement and you also have an approval workflow connected to the purchase agreement. Since the purchase agreement is already approved it is not effective to also require approval for each (call-off) ) from the purchase agreement. At least this should be optional for the business to decide. However, if you make changes to the Purchase order after the order is released you still want change management to enabled to be able to approve changes.

The functionality could work similar as the existing parameter called "Give purchase orders created via purchase requisitions Draft approval status" which exists in the Procurement and sourcing parameters. But instead the purchase agreement can be set to approved instead of draft when the PO is created. Then the purchase order workflow can still be used if there are changed to the PO after it has been released.

Thank you very much for your input. We do not have any plans to extend this capability, we will however continue to monitor how much in demand such a capability is.
