Customer mentioned in their Power Platform capacity for 'Database' was reduced from 111.41 GB to 106.23 GB between Friday, 31 October 2025 and Monday, 3 November 2025. In the Power Platform Admin Center, the 'Database capacity from licences' view under the 'Licensing' chapter only lists 'Purchases' or 'Capacity increases', but activities such as licence returns, which could have such an impact, are missing.

Customer needs a report or a log to be able to track this change.

We have informed that license comparisons are available in the licensing trend chart, which can be accessed through the "See capacity per license" option.

Customer came back and mentioned a dashboard in which you move the time when moving the mouse on the horizontal plane and at the same time a vertical movement is required to get to the ‘hover over’ dialogue window to scroll up and down. The whole thing is more a game of chance than useful monitoring.

In your explanation you mention that you can compare, but to do so, you have to do exactly what I explained in my previous paragraph.

It would be much easier if there is a change history of all the activities that influence the tenant capacities and not a ‘mouse hover game’.

Customer mentioned they really need a fitting monitoring / reporting.

Customer shared the below information:

I still want to insist that the License Trends chart isn´t an enterprise grade monitoring tool for a platform hosting business process.

  1. usability

As already told even to scroll within this on 3-4 different layers (timeline and within the hover-over-windows in additional further 2 directions)

is not practicable

  1. Content

Having three times the same product adding different capacity e.g. "Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management Premium" is not comprehensible for us as a customer!

The customer has shared their suggestion about changing the licensing chat, so I am submitting their information and idea in the ideas portal.
