The current design of the system is allowing employees to apply for their leave plan in the future even though their enrollment ends before the request date.

This shouldn't be allowed since employees are unable to see the enrollment end date of any of their leave plans and hence, can assume that they can till apply for that leave plan.

I cannot understand why this is possible, while a user cannot add a time off within a previous active employment.Imagine there was an accrual frequency change or change into the enrolments of the same Leave Plan due to a FTE change needing un-enrolment + re-enrolment into the same leave plan to calculate the correct pro-rated accrual amount. A user cannot submit any time off request for their previous enrolment.
