Right now our customers have no idea when a new version of an app from app source is available.

Since all apps are only automatically updated when their environment is updated to a major release, they can be on older versions of apps for long periods of time.

The only way to see if an update is available is to manually go to the Admin Center and look at apps in a specific environment.

My suggestion is to have a notifikation within Business central (on the role center) that states a specific app have an update available.

Other suggestions could be to have an option to send notifikations regarding app updates through the Notification Recipients or have it available in telemetry.
