In 2023 wave 1 new functionality was added to allow non-inventory line types to be shipped if items on the same source document were shipped via a warehouse document. This functionality work brilliantly, however it does not currently work with service orders. This creates an inconsistency, and it is suggested that the functionality is expanded so it can also be used with service orders in an equivalent manner to sales orders.
