When using "Quantity calculation formula on production BOMs", the result should be displayed somewhere in the BOM.
For an example from the documentation (below), the value "2.1 m2" should be visible somewhere in the BOM.
A production BOM requires 70 metal parts with the dimensions length = 0.20 m and width = 0.15 m. Enter the values as follows: Calculation Formula = Length x Width, Length = 20, Width = 15, Quantity per = 70.
Quantity per x Length * Width, that is, Quantity = 70 x 0.20 m x 0.15 m = 2.1 m2, gives the quantity.
