When generating a report from the Report Designer the user can select reporting units at runtime from the reporting tree. This can be particularly useful when picking operating units to be reported from a long list of available dimension values .
This selection functionality should also be available when generating reports from the menu in D365. Now the only parameter is the reporting date which makes this function less flexible.
