To update the data in bulk in the journals, people mostly use Copy + Paste. They copy the data from Journal Lines and paste it into an Excel spreadsheet. After updating the required values, they copy the data from excel and paste it back into the journal. This feature is accountant's favorite feature. Many of my clients rely on this from the era of NAV.

Unfortunately, when you try to paste the data back to journal lines in case of Recurring Journal, it gives you an error. Though, it still works fine in NAV. Also, as Recurring General Journal doesn't have "Edit in Excel" functionality, loosing the Copy + Paste feature in BC is upsetting.

I hope this issue would be fixed by Microsoft.
