Another upvote, more than 3 years later. This is still important, still a big problem! On several occasions (2024) our Synapse Link connection has been synchronizing very slowly to the Data Lake. This has been going on for days and weeks. Currently there is no way to measure the delay apart from comparing creation timestamps on individual records.Perhaps it could be possible to have Synapse Link sending performance metrics and errors to a Log Analytics Workspace?
Not only notify but there should be a lot more extensive logging data with KQL support for parsing it so that any issues can be addressed.
completely agree with notifications. Currently this link is not enterprise ready
We need to know the status of the Azure Synapse Link replication of data from Dynamics 365 Customer Experience (CRM) to an Azure Synapse Workspace. This is a "must have" requirement to since if the replication has failed then systems / people may be using old (invalid) data. Please add reporting / alerting features.
Totally agree, bringing in the notifications for failures would help everyone.
I agree that notifications are necessary if any sync failure occurs that the process cannot auto-recover from. In addition, it should be possible manually to force a re-process of the failed updates, otherwise the only option is to unlink and re-link the table, which interrupts all further updates until the initial sync completes.
As per the current documents user should not add more that 5 entities at a time. I reckon if user add more than 5 entities then UI should warn the user
I fully support and infact if there are any issues related to Intial Sync or Delta Sync then customer should be fix. I reckon it is also nice to ETA time to finish sync and users should be able to multiple links
