Hi,

Creating a new record from another record should be working in the Unified Inteface as it did before in the Web Interface and this despite the fact that the Quick Create Form is enabled or not.
Now, if the Quick Create is enabled, you can create an account from a contact for example and the account will be filled in in the parentcustomer lookup field on the contact.
If you don't have the Quick Create enabled a new form is shown (as a replacement of your contact form), the account is created but after clicking save&close the parentcustomer field is not filled in.

This is not only very anoying but also a big issue since you don't have the option to pass on context from the starting record in both scenario's.

TIA.

Regards,
Christophe.

Thanks for your feedback. Passing the context of the parent record to the child record, when creating a new child record is already supported (even when Quick create is not enabled).
