Notes can currently only be viewed in context of a parent record or via advanced find. While you can create new views for notes and Excel templates for notes, there is no UI to get to them. Many users view notes as another type of activity, and like with activities, want to use them for monitoring user adoption and client interaction. Please remove the restriction against adding notes entity to the sitemap and dashboards.
