We would sometimes like to start a WHS work based on the License plate on the goods. Using a work template, we create separate pick work for each item and License plate. However, the items are on the terrain in big locations with multiple License plates and we would like to start at the front. The issue is that we do not know which work-id we need to start with. Ideally we would have the option to scan the License plate of the item, and that the corresponding pickwork is then started.

On the work lines, we have a batch and serial number, so it is possible to identify what the associated work should be, but in the mobile device we can only scan fields which are on the work header.

Similarly, if we would have multiple lines on the work, we may want perhaps to start with line 15 because that is in front of us, but in the scanner we have to start with line 1.

It would be a great value added feature if it would be possible to start a work based on the License plate or batch or serial number which is in the work lines. The LP is of course not on the worklines, but based on the License plate you would be able to find the right work, because we only have 1 batch and serial on 1 LP.
