There is no periodic task to update values on multiple sales orders in one go. For example , in order to update the same requested receipt date for more than 1 sales order, user needs to go into each sales order and make the change, and also decide on the prompt (if shown, depends on AR setup) for delivery date control for each of them.

Instead, a periodic / mass update task could be helpful for updating order management fields such as requested ship date, receipt date, mode of delivery etc.
