Dynamic 365 add-in should be working for the users whose mailboxes are hosted on the onpremise environment and are part of disable connected experience..

we have a requirement to redesign this feature (Connected experience and Dynamics add-in) so that we can apply disable connected experience policy to all the users and ultimately deploy Microsoft 365 apps for enterprise to all the users in our organization.

we have been told that the dynamic 365 add-in will not work if we apply disable connected experience policy to the users whose mailboxes are hosted on the on premise environment but we have a requirement to do this for multiple users hence submitting this idea as per the suggestion from Microsoft engineer.
