The Notifactions Panel in the menu bar basically existis since BC started as far as I remember. However, even though I knew BC since its first version, I have never seen a single notification in this panel. I was told, it is possible to program notifactions in AL, but that does not seem very user friendly. Therefore, I make the following request:
The Notifications should be upgraded, so they can be used more frequently and more productive. For example:
- External Informations:
- Information, when BC was updated
- Link to Release Notes for quite overview
- etc.
- Internal Informations:
- Info, if a workflow needs to be released
- If a document was assigned to me
- A note was writen on a document, in which my purchaser Code or similar is defined
- etc.
There are many possibilities, how the notifications could be used. So a generell update for this functionality could improve teamwork and productivity enormously.
