The Document Attach Feature was introduced into Dynamics GP during the Dynamics GP 2013 R2 version. It allows users to attach any type of documents to Master Records, Transactions, and even Inquiry Records inside GP. However, this useful feature is not available within the Manufacturing Suite of modules. Many Manufacturing companies would greatly benefit from this feature if it were added to the core Manufacturing Suite modules enabling specifications, work flows, drawings, etc. to be associated with Manufacturing data such as Items, Bills of Material, Routings and Manufacturing Orders would be especially useful. It would likely be helpful in most of the Manufacturing windows.
