There are multiple scenarios where either posting an invoice or registering a payment (for now only on tablet - please make it possible in phone mode as well) is a requirement for sales agents on the road. In quite a few counties, especially in Europe, both of these actions may require the printing of a fiscal receipt through a fiscal printer. Since these printers do not operate as a regular printer (i.e. there is no print layout that you define, also you don't set it up as a regular printer device) it's impossible to perform this action at the moment. Due to certain limitations - this is also not possible on the web client, unless you develop a pretty complicated third party component that is called from the web client - so we're basically going "outside BC" to perform these actions. It would be nice to come up with a way to use at least Bluetooth communication (there are plenty of Bluetooth enabled fiscal printers) and then allow the developers to customize the specific data send to each printer, as different fiscalization work with different protocols in each country. So we're looking more at a new feature enabling integration than a ready integration with specific devices.
