In the current environment user tasks can be created and are displayed on the users landing page.
It would be nice if e-mailing could be integrated with the user tasks.
Some ideas or examples:
When a user tasks is created and a user is assigned - send an email to that user to let them know they have been assigned to a task. The email could include the description of the task and the due date. It could include a link to open that task in business central.
When a user task becomes past due having the ability to send email notifications informing the user that their task is past due.
I think there is a potential to modify the workflow event triggers. This would provide users with the ability to create workflows based on these events.
Perhaps possible workflow events would be :
user task inserted
user task modified
user task deleted
user task past due, etc.
