Currently the packing policy has only one parameter setup for printing the new container label at the time of container creation with the mobile app menu item “container creation”.

In many business scenarios it is however required to print the label only at the container close when all information for the container label like packed content, weight and dimension etc. is available!

A new parameter “Print container label at container close” in the packing profiles would be a great addtion to the standard solution!

Furthermore we are currently not sure if the “print container content” toogle is respected and the SSRS Report “Container Content” is also printed if the the container is closed on the mobile menu item “container closing” and not on the D365 pack station form. This should be triggered in the same way of course!

Thank you!

I voted and the counter increased but after a refresh I noticed it still doesn't save.

Tried voting for this and it will not allow.

Absolute no-brainer - once the container is closed the operator should have the option to just reach for the printed label to stick it on.

For instance, I worked with a customer a few years ago where we automated a label to be printed - +2000 boxes per day at peak, so if they had needed 3 seconds to go to a menu to print a label that would be +1.5 hours per day lost!!!

Really needed as I agree this is a practical requirement.
