The new Socialpane/Timeline only shows the record locations for the automatic created messages in the Unified Interface. If you use the Message-Entity to refer users and write them messages on specific records you could only recognize their location, when you refer the record manualy in the message or use the legacy webclient with the old socialpane. If you try to create an Dashboard like the webressource "msdyn_/personalwall"or the "What new" you will need the record locations for faster navigation. The default message entity deliver an location reference. So i would suggest that the possibility to edit the message card form or an implementation of the location will help us.
