The Security Role Configuration Screen lists the name of the entities, however in situations where the same entity name is used across the various solutions (as there are so many solutions now imported in Dynamics 365 Online as part of the for e.g. Field Service, Project Service), and if your custom solution uses the same entity name as of the other imported solutions, there is no way to distinguish.
Suggestion to include the entity Schema name or Logical name in brackets next to the Entity Display Name. For e.g. Payment (msdyn_payment).
