On the manufacturing setup there is a field "Preset Output Quantity" that can be set to Zero on all operations, Expected quantity, or zero last operation. This effects the Production Journal right now but it should also be used for the output journal when the explode routing process is run.
When you explode the routing it would be ideal if the output quantity was set based on the manufacturing setup parameter.
