I've been utilizing the Workflow User Groups in the Sales Order Approval Workflow. We have a need to use 3 tiers of approvers (where only 1 person in each tier is required to approve) but the system is currently only working correctly for 2 tiers of approvers.

The system will currently allow a user to set up more than 2 tiers of approvers in a workflow user group, but did not build the code logic to work with more than 2 tiers. I opened this as a support ticket and it was confirmed that the Development team never anticipated that someone would need more than 2 tiers. This seems like a design flaw to me.

What is needed is to advance the code logic to allow the 3 tier/level to trigger the system to open the approvals for this level (or for a 4th or 5th tier of approval). Right now, this is working correctly for levels 1 and 2, but will only create an approval (not open it) for level 3 - thus leaving the sales order document in limbo and unusable. This logic should also allow for only 1 user in each tier to approve before opening the next tier of approvals. And only 1 users in each tier should need to approve before the document is released.
