When you have processes that insert or update information in tables, if you try to assing a value to an autoincrement field, the system ends with an error. If we can check if field is autoincrement, we could avoid to assing a value in the field.
I think, the best aproach for this, is to have a boolean field in "Field" table to be able to check if this property is set.
