CRM real-time dashboards & charts are great for many requirements, but have two drawbacks.

1. For large data sets, performance becomes an issue.
2. For some KPIs, all users need to see the same information and not a "role tailored" view.

Being able to define charts and dashboards as either real-time or scheduled would provide the best of both worlds. Scheduled charts & dashboards could be defined to run under a specific user context, providing the same view of data to all users. Also, they could be scheduled outside of peak times, and therefore minimise performance-related issues.
