Currently the approval requestor still be able to modify the record, even it should be protected. I believe this would be needed in a lot of business scenarios as we don't want the record to be messed up if it already during the approval status.
The expectation should be:
- If the user edit the journal lines under pending approval status, it should block all user to edit. The line should only be able to edit until the current request got cancelled. (other wise, we don't need the button on cancel approval request)
- If the user edit the journal lines and it could be processed, the system should automatically delete the request approval entries and refresh the approval status. Currently, the approval status will still remaining the same with "Pending Approval". The current design could mislead the users for who need to operate the journals.

Without the secure, it would be better if we can have a notification or warning to Approver if the pending approve entries got modified.
