In Business Central, there's no easy way to create a filter on the field values of multiple records shown on a list page. Users have to make a selection, export to Word or Excel, and then create an appropriate filter with the | between the values. Which is more of a work around.
This could be improved for users, for example by making 'Filter to this value' functionality work with multiselect, and create a pipe separated filter for the field values of the selection of records (including deduplication). Instead of setting a filter on the value of just one record, which is the current functionality.

This is similar to what we previously had in NAV where you could mark records and choose to show only marked records
