Very often in project implementation most businesses will have a number of project actors on the Project who have responsibility of projects i.e. Project Manager, Sales Manager, Project controller. 


These options needs to be made configurable or expanded to about 5 or 6 and provide the ability to rename then as possible with the 'Project stages'. 


The rename will make it possible to change the naming of them depending on the industry you're deploying into. e.g. in Construction you will typically want a Quantity Surveyor and maybe a site manager identified on the Project...in a Pharmaceutical industry that name will be something different.

Good idea! I have additional request related to this - Our customers want to filter projects by Project manager and now only option is to use advanced filters or left side filter. With personalization user is able to add e.g. project manager ass column to grid in All projects - form but fields are empty. Project manager -field could be by default a column in All projects -form and should have some values in it.

We need more than 3 participant for a project. We also expect  new participant can be used as participant in workflow.

A role cannot be user-defined, because every role is a participant in several workflows. 5 should be enough; I am in need of 4 on my current AX implementation project.

Quite agree, you should be able to add as many as possible as contacts in a grid, with user-definable roles.
