Background Information

With the Real-Time Marketing feature, Commercial emails must have an "Unsubscribe" link to open the Preference Page, which has the following major limitations:

  • Design customization and branding are not possible
  • Preference Page does not incorporate the Subscription Lists


From a customer's perspective, there is no clear difference between receiving commercial emails sent out via Real-Time Marketing Journey or emails sent out via the Outbound Customer Journey. Having some emails with a link to the Preference Page and others to a Subscription Center has the potential to create confusion to the customers. This really discourages the use of the Real-Time features by our Marketing/Business users.


Suggestions

Provide the option to use Subscription Centers instead of the Preference Page. The Subscription Center should be enhanced to ideally include the consent for text messages and other fields from the Prefence Center.


Benefits:

  • Avoids confusion from Customers by having a single page to review his/her opt-ins with our business.
  • Branding and design is already possible with Customer Journeys.
