User has Business Central open in a tab in Chrome. When they attempt to open BC in another tab, so they can multitask, they receive the error: “Something went wrong. You cannot sign in due to a technical issue. Contact your system administrator.”


We tried several options:

  • change Browser
  • Inkognito Modus
  • delete cache
  • delete cookies


We need another solution to solve this problem.

Working with Business Central in multiple tabs or browser windows is fully supported (including a feature to open a page in a new window) since 2019.
