New tools for analyzing the required license for roles/duties/privileges in Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain Management (License Usage Summary Report) allow conducting analysis only top-down, that is, from role/duty/privilege to object.

But when there is a need to see the information “from the bottom,” for example,

• which objects from which privileges or duties need to be removed in order to reduce the level of the required license for a specific security role,
• whether the required license level for the role will increase if a certain object is added to it, etc.,

a lot of additional manual actions are required, which could be avoided if the new Security Analysis (User Security Feature) report contained a License/SKU column with information about the required license for a specific line, or if such information were returned to the View Permission form (Security Configuration).
